Biography
I was born to a man who loves books and a woman who loves children. Thus, it seems, my fate was sealed from the moment I screamed my way into the world, cold, cranky and two weeks late.
"She'll be a writer," everyone said as I devoured my way through the library bookshelves. But I didn't want to be a writer. I wanted to be a veterinarian-marine biologist-librarian-interior designer-musician-superhero. Yeah I wrote, but I didn't want to BE a writer...
Except I never found a career I liked better than writing. And eventually I threw up my hands and accepted it.
Now I'm still cold much of the time, but the crankiness and lateness have diminished. And I write stories. I hope you enjoy them.
